Jakarta Instructs PPSU to Get Ready for Rainy Season

The Jakarta administration held a standby ceremony for the rainy season simultaneously in 44 sub-districts, by presenting representatives of PPSU. It is done as an effort to anticipate flood risk and form of coaching, as well as evaluation related to PPSU performance

City Secretary, Marullah Matali disclosed, not all of them were present as the conditions were still in a pandemic situation and due to considerations of location capacity and health protocols.

Local urban village heads will conduct periodic evaluations in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 125/2019," he added.
He then asserted that the role of the residents is also needed to participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.
"It can be realized through communal work in each neighborhood and take care of public facilities and infrastructure. This is much needed in a bid to keep Jakarta clean, healthy and flood-free," he stated.
